The
first edition of the workshop was associated with the MASCOTS'04
IEEE Conference, and was rather successful, considering the very tight
scheduling (the call for papers was issued one month and half before
the conference): 22 papers were submitted, and 15 were selected for the
inclusion in the proceedings, that were published by the IEEE.
The details of this first edition can be found at
Hot-P2P'04 Home page.
The
second edition, associated with the Mobiquitous 2005 international
conference, consolidated the scientific community around this event.
In this case 25 papers were submitted, and only 13 were accepted for
publication in the IEEE proceedings, after a rigorous selection by the
program committee. See details for this edition at
Hot-P2P'05 Home page.
The
third edition was associated for the first time with IPDPS IEEE International Parallel & Distributed
Processing Symposium. 32 papers from North and South America, Europe,
and Asia were submitted and only 13 papers were accepted, thus making a very
rigorous 40% acceptance rate.
See details for this edition at
Hot-P2P'06 Home page.
The
fourth edition was associated again with IPDPS IEEE International Parallel & Distributed
Processing Symposium.
See details for this edition at the
Hot-P2P'07 Home page.
For the
fifth edition, again with IPDPS, ten papers were selected out of 31
submissions.
